Razor Crest 1.0 - A Converted Homebrew Expansion

Hey pilots! I am happy to say that I've been able to get time to work on X-wing homebrew. Since you've already waited long enough for the Mandalorian conversion, I won't dilly-dally here. I am going to reverse the posting process I did with the Skipray, and give you the full expansion first! With this print-n-play PDF of pilots and upgrades, you can fly your Razor Crest 2.0 expansion pack in 1.0 games. Check it out!

Over the next little while, I plan to post articles going into depth about the conversion. These will cover topics such as:

  • How I converted 2.0 mechanics into 1.0, especially when the former introduced so many new things.
  • How I decided on the cost of pilots and upgrades.
  • Why I didn't recreate the maneuver dial and unique tokens, and how the 2.0 versions can easily fit into 1.0 games.
  • How 2.0 pictures don't fit onto 1.0 cards and how I worked around it.
  • How my Razor Crest model broke and how I fixed it.

I do want to note that while I tried my best to stay true to the identity of the 2.0 expansion, there are changes that you may disagree with. No worries! If this is case, I encourage you to edit this conversion to make it fit your own play-style better.

I hope you have a great time flying and keep being awesome! See you again soon.

PGP out.

2023 Update

Hello pilots!

I apologize for the huge gap since my last post. The majority of my free time for last several months has involved searching for, buying, and moving to my first house. I am finally starting to settle in and hope to get game time back up and running!

As for posts, my next planned one is The Mandalorian conversion. I have run into some technical difficulties with it, but plan on getting through these soon. Thank you for patience.

Additionally, I have several ideas for some homebrew updates to 1.0 ships. With these small updates, I can make “booster pack” posts to add some new and fun things to your games. I hope to get several of these out this year.

I will be sure to keep you posted, so stay tuned. As always, have fun flying out there!
